Confirmation of a word please 1696

This is from a Court of Chancery document.
The plaintiff is trying to discredit poor old Thomas Slacke -
Just checking it does say 'Ideot'!

I'd agree with Ideot.

The terms 'idiot' and 'lunatic' have legal connotations in a Chancery context. See here ...
