Posting 399 04/10/10 re Andrew and Robert O'Brien are of great interest to me as my mother's maiden name was O'Brien and we lived for many years at 41 Oakley Road.

?

Better off replying to Posting 399 on whatever board it is on!
Give a man a record and you feed him for a day.
Teach a man to research, and you feed him for a lifetime.

What a terrific resource. Dermo made contact with me on the same day and has furnished me with a very precise history of the O'Brien family. I now have a heretofore unknown third cousin!  His detail, explanations and assumptions are of a very high standard and reflect the years of dedicated effort that he has put into this project. I have had the pleasure of meeting many of the people named by him in the research which I am reading ( slowly) - mainly because of my diminishing attention span!
