Wishing to discover relatives who lived at 27, Elsworth Place, Armley, Leeds in 1927-8. We live in Cheshire and would be pleased if someone could help.

Find My Past has electoral rolls for 1832 to 1932.  Have you looked there to see if your relative was living at the address in question?

There is more than one Leeds listed so unless you know the constituency it may take a while to locate it.
Ashford: Somerset, London
England: Devon, London, New Zealand
Holdway: Wiltshire
Hooper: Bristol, Somerset
Knowling: Devon, London
Southcott: Devon, China
Strong: Wiltshire
Watson: Cambridgeshire
White: Bristol
Windo - Gloucestershire, Somerset, Wiltshire

As Veronica said, Armley Leeds. (West Riding, not Leeds Kent)
Sorry I don't use Find My Past.

I asked which Leeds in Yorkshire as there are the following listed for Polling District or Place:-

Leeds, then its Leeds Central, East, North, North-East, South, South-East and West and lastly Leedstown.

I don't know which constituency Armley would come under for the years 1832 to 1932.

If Veronica would like to give me some names/surnames I could check these for her.
