Finding out US addresses 1970
« on: Thursday 29 June 17 19:15 BST (UK) »
Hi, can anyone tell me if there are electoral rolls in the US, like we have in UK, listing residents of the household that are available to search online? Trying to find the address of someone on my family tree from early 1970s, lived in an area in DC

Thanks for any advice

You could try the US Public Records database - https://familysearch.org/search/collection/2199956  Most of the information is later than the 70's, but you may get lucky.  Also, keep in mind that this information comes from various sources, including things like phone books and mailing lists, so you may see entries from a date when the person in question was actually deceased or not living there.
