Can't help with dating, a-l, but I've lightened and cropped the pictures to help with comparisons. There are similarities but, on balance, my opinion would be a no. Actually I think the sister on the right looks more like the lady in the hat than the sister sitting down. But it's not easy; people can look quite different in different photos. To me there definitely appears to be a family resemblance.

Cheers, Peter.

Thankyou very much Peter . I was told who the sisters were but I know it isn't possible.
The lady on the left I know for sure and the lady on her own too.
Looking closely at the seated lady I'm not so sure it is the lady on her own  ???
Thanks again for your help.
Sue

The lady on the right has similar, reasonably prominent eyes to the lady in the single photo.

I don't think the single photo is of the seated woman - at a guess!    :)  ;)

Having said all that, I'm not much good at matching faces.  ;D

Possibly mother and two daughters.  Seated woman is wearing a wedding band (picasa, auto contrast).

Date-wise, clothing and hair style looks very similar to one I have of a family member and we've rough-dated that to probably just after WW1.

Thankyou very much Wiggy and familydar for your help.
I know it isn't their mother because she died when they were little girls.
However there were much older sisters. The other point I find is that the if the seated lady and the single lady photo is the same person , she looks older than the year difference between her and the lady on the left. But then my eyes aren't that good  ;D

A little more help needed please if you don't mind. I have looked at the other sisers who survived and made a mistake with the age of the single lady.
She is 2 years older not 1.
The other sisters are 8 years and 25 years older than the lady on the left.
Would you agree with the 2 or the 8 please ?

I don't think they are the same lady, hair parting usually remains constant throughout life, and the partings are different.
