Marriage of Henry Carter & Sarah Newington about 1760

A document at The Keep "Conveyance (lease and release, bond and final concord) for £1450" makes mention of Henry Carter Inn Holder of Eastbourne and his wife Sarah.  Sarah is one of the surviving children of Joseph Newington & Mary Tompsett.

I cannot locate Henry Carter & Sarah Newington's marriage and would appreciate some assistance please.

One tree on Anc has a marriage date of 1760 however no reference or source supplied.

Sarah was baptised 11 Apr 1741 Ticehurst.  I think Henry was a brother to John who in 1760 married Sarah's sister Mary.  If this is the case Henry was baptised  03 Jan 1736/37 at Burwash.

There is no marriage for Henry & Sarah on the Sussex Marriage Index but this on Freereg

17 June 1762,Cliffe,St Helens Church,Kent.

Sarah Newington & Henry Carter.

Brides Parish,Tyshurst (Ticehirst).
