Good find.  So that could be the Raymond Lamont that was mentioned on the family tree born 1926  ???  ::)

Scotlands People - James Barclay Lamont - 1926 - 168/1 37 - St Nicholas

If there was a death notice in the Glenrothes Gazette or you could contact that newspaper, it might give the names of relatives.

Hi "again" all. Had one or two health problems, but nearly O.K. now. Have been watching in the background over the "missing" time.
This thread caught my interest.

"Same refs and details showing for her under the surname of Reid...and Paterson. Looks like she remarried after husband Joseph's death?"
She was a widow when she married Joseph.

The 1971 Kennoway marriage looks like the one.

I would agree with the "James" actually being the supposed "Raymond".

There is a "Margaret Reid Lamont" born 1924 St Nicholas possible sister.

It's good to be contributing again.

Regards

Flattybasher.

Hope you continue to progress after your illness.  Good find. Hopefully this will give Adrian the contact that he needs.  ;)

I have sent Adrian address details of the possible widow of James which will hopefully be of use?
