Ian....one more thing...Can you confirm the marriage date in October 1860?  Thank you!

Awesome!

For some reason, I couldn’t get the riksarkivet website to work on my computer or iPad last night.  But using your links and my iPhone, it works.

Interesting info...I believe Anna Britta confessed in 1850 to a self-induced abortion.  Josef Bjorn may have been involved in the investigation as a physician (supposedly he was a homeopathic doctor in addition to being a corporal).  Then 10 years later after Josef became a widower, they married and had 4 children.

Thanks again!

Hi Ian:  I hope this link works as the website is now finally working on my computer.  Can you read the comments for Anna Britta on the right (row 22)?  Also, her birth date was crossed out and changed...but you definitely found the correct date (which is the one crossed out).  I wonder why they would do this.

No rush on the translation....just whenever you have time.

Thanks again,

Paul

Here you go:

"Ändringen af födelseort på grund av hennes egen uppgift än hon är född i Ambjörnarp och ändringen af födelsetid på grund af ? födelse och dopbevis. Hallberg
? och angående födelseort Ambjörnarp vigelsebok för år 1860 och den Ambjörnarp husförhörslängd som börjar år 1836 pag 18.
"

The alteration of the place of birth according to her own information is that she is born in Ambjörnarp and the alteration of the date of birth according to the birth and christening book. Hallberg
? and according to the Ambjörnarp marriage book for the year 1860 and the Ambjörnarp Household book beginning year 1836 page 18.
