As heywood said their mother appears to be Catherine Moriarty
Here is a baptism and birth for Timothy, don't worry about the difference in dates that often happens when people are late registering a birth.

You have to do the Captcha and give your name and tick the little box to see them but you can check the site for the others

I've been using ancestry to find members of my family for a long time and I've seemed to have reached a brick wall. My 2nd Great Grandfather was named Edward Dwyer and he was born around Kildare, Ireland in 1859. I'm looking for his parents. His children's names are Patrick, John, Elizabeth, Matthew, Mary, Michael, Edward, Nellie, Thomas, and Timothy. His wife's name was Catherine.
If anyone else has him in their tree, please reach out!

Melanie
The 1901 census shows Edward as born in Co. Kerry - was your original reference to Kildare an error? Just to make sure that the correct family is being researched.

Father Edward DWYER
Mother Catherine MORIARTY
Children born in the Kenmare District, Co. Kerry 1876-1900

1 Patrick b. Oct 22 1876 LINK #366
2 Mary b. Mar 13 1878 LINK #98
3 John b. Oct 10 1879 LINK #352
4 Michael b. Mar 10 1881 LINK #64
5 Elizabeth b. May 10 1882 LINK #230
6 Mathew b. Oct 02 1883 LINK #393
7 Edward b. Jul 08 1886 LINK #217
8 Ellen (Nellie is a derivative, possibly Ellis on 1901 census aged 11) b. Jun 08 1888 LINK #142
9 Thomas  b. Aug 25 1891 LINK #424
10 Timothy b. Oct 12 1895 LINK #242

In light of the baptisms found for Thomas and Timothy being before the civil registration dates, I would search for baptism before the date of birth in all the other cases also – people were fined for late registration at that time and gave a date that prevented this rather than a true date.

I don't immediately see a marriage for Edward and Catherine

Edward DWYER found dead Jun 05 1907 LINK #93 aged 60

Also do you want to find family going back or forward?
