Looking for siblings of an ancestor
« on: Saturday 22 July 17 16:40 BST (UK) »
My great great great grandfather was Timothy William KERSEY who was baptised on the 27th Sept 1784 in Hadleigh, Suffolk, parents Timothy and Hannah Kersey. Is there some way of finding out if he had any siblings? I would love to extend my knowledge of the Kersey family, my father's maternal line, but I'm finding them very elusive. Timothy William was described elsewhere as a coachman and they also appear to have connections with Hadleigh and Bury St Edmunds before moving to London. I am not at all skilled at searching and would really appreciate any help.

Hi

Welcome to rootschat

Using family search and the film no 919574 which shows against Timothy's baptism there are two other baptisms with the same parents   https://familysearch.org/search

Maybe there was also another child Mary born quickly after the marriage.  She may have been baptised again later or could have died.  It was common for parents to name a child after a deceased child
