Ford / Drake Family HELP!

Can anyone help me locate parents of the following couple? Everything below is all i know!

Ivan L Ford married Joan M Drake in Newton Abbott 1950

They had one child Janice Irene Ford 1951 - 1999

All we know is Ivan died before 1989 and Joan after 1999. The last we know is Joan was living in Bracknell with her new partner (i wont name as i am unsure if he is still alive)

I can only find one Ivan L Ford in the birth records which is 1915 in Doncaster but i cannot find a death record? I did find a death (cannot open record as i do not have the correct subscription)  for an Ivan Lewis Ford in New Zealand 1981 but i cannot find anything to confirm this.

Any help would be amazing!!!!

Marriage certificate for fathers names would be a factual start. 

Have you looked for him or her on the 1939 register?  That should give dates of birth to cross reference any possibles  :)

A possible birth for Joan M Drake Mar 1928 Newton Abbot mothers name Day.
Hinchliffe - Huddersfield Wiltshire

The Doncaster birth registration is Sep qtr 1914: Ivan Lewis Ford, mother's maiden name Morgan.

The death in New Zealand on 4 August 1981 is also of an Ivan Lewis Ford, aged 67, so looks consistent.

The NZ man had a wife (not Joan) and 5 children listed on his burial record.

There is another possible marriage for him in 1966 England to Dora V Marshall

there is an Ivan Ford, accountant listed at 43 Eilacombe Church Road.
