Simons, Burgess, Ayris & Collett families in Oxfordshire

Hello,
I am new to the whole family history thing, so hoping that you guys may be able to help me search for the following names:
Joyce Margaret Burgess (nee Collett)
William 'Bill' Burgess
Frances Simons (nee Garlick)
Arthur Victor 'Jack' Simons
Joan Rees (prior Collett, nee Ayris)
Herbert Collett
Any help would be great as I keep hitting dead ends!

A bit more detail would help......what areas in Oxfordshire and what years/decades.  If you know any occupations that would also be useful.

can you post some dates please -
for instance there is a Joan Ayris in Kidlington,Oxfordshire 1550 to 1600 - that's a long way back -
and there is a Burgess marriage to Joyce Collett in 1952 - so we need some years when they lived - have they all passed away ?...if not could you delete any names of living people - Rootschat policy is not to research living people

It's advisable to stick with one family first. Choose the one you want looking at the most.
With multiple families you will get multiple answers which you will find will get confusing.

Sorry haha as I said I'm new to this!
Okay let's concentrate on my maternal grandparents and great grandparents:
My grandmother Joyce Margaret Burgess (Nee Collett) was born in the 1920s (I'm unsure of the date) and died in 2010, she was born and died in Bicester.
Her husband William 'Bill' Burgess died in 1994 I think, no idea of his birth date but I'm guessing between 1915 and 1930 (sorry its not much to go on! These are only estimates). Not sure if he was born in Bicester or not but he definitely died there.
My great grandmother (Joan Ayris) was first married to Herbert Collett (I know nothing about them except that Herbert died when my grandmother was young, so sometime in 1920s or 30s). Joan later married a Welshman with the surname Rees. I believe she and Herbert were born and died in Bicester. Joan and Herbert had other children, I think 3 were Charlie, George and Robert, but could be wrong. There was also another daughter but I can't remember her name. Sorry I don't know much more but my family don't like talking about them for some reason.

I wonder why Lilian was called Joan to the family

Lilian and Herbert only had 2 children - Joan M Collett Born 1922 and J W Collett b 1928 I won't post his full name as he could be alive ??

ADDED please don't be offended - but after reading my post again - I think you are getting your names mixed - up your Grandmother was JOAN Margaret Collett born 1922 and your G Grandmother was Lilian Mary Ayris b 1901

Thank you ! Definitely sure my grandmother was Joyce as I grew up with her, its very interesting that Lilian was called Joan but then again my other granddad was Arthur but known as Jack... Confusing! Haha. Any idea who Lilians parents were? Then I'll try and go it alone. Thanks so much though!
