There is a Henry Jamieson who married Margaret Forsyth Anderson St George's, Midlothian which I believe is in Edinburgh, and there is a George Forsyth Jamieson born 1904 same registration district possibly their son. I think this could be a good starting point for you, this is all on Scotlandspeople site which I do not have any credits for at this time. Hope this helps.
I think the 1939 George was a red herring.

Thank you I think I have found some records dating back along the Jamieson side to 1881.  I can't seem to find George forsyth Jamieson or his father Henry on any 1911 search though  ???

It shows George, Agnes& children returning to Scotland from Canada in 1933
