I presume you have access to Anestry Adam?

Look at the 1851 Census for Ann Payne.
Could her pob be St Weonards, Herefordshire?

ANN Watkins christened 25 March 1810 Bishopstone to JOHN/ANN

2 possible Susannas;
SUSANNA Watkins 29 Sept 1799 Brinsop to JOHN/ANN
SUSANNA Watkins 20 April 1800 Saint Weonards to JOHN/MARY

I looked up Brinsop/St Weonards/Bishopstone on the Genuki Website and thy are about 12 miles apart.


Genuki is a great resource;

Go down to Historical Geography and the to ;
Ask for a calculation of the distance from St Weonards to another place.
Click on it , type in another place name eg Brinsop and it will tell you far apart they are

The transcription of the 1851 record for Ann Payne is St. Winard's, so it's most likely St. Weonard's, Herefordshire.
