Finlay Quigley marriage
« on: Tuesday 25 July 17 17:59 BST (UK) »
Hello  :) I'm totally new to ancestry research. Like all of you I'm finding it very interesting and also somewhat frustrating!

A long shot I'm sure, but I'm after some specific information. I'd like to know the name of the church that my grandparents were married in.

My grandparents Thomas Joseph Finlay and Dorothy Pauline Quigley got married in April (I think it was the 5th) of 1942. They wed in Dublin North. I know this through findmypast. Apparently this information is available in the Dublin North Registry, Volume 2, Page 329. I'd like to know if there is a way I can use this information to pinpoint exactly which church they were married in.

I've registered for a couple of ancestry sites and searched all over the place but can't seem to find any more information than this. Any help/advice is much appreciated.

Welcome to RootsChat
Unfortunately online images of marriage Certs on Irish Genealogy stop at 1940 at the moment but you can get a photocopy of the cert for €4

As you can see by this map Dublin North covers a large area
