Hello everyone,

And thank you for your help and interest.   I can't add any more, keep getting error message, to large.

The parish was Canongate and on looking just now online there was once apon a time a place
there called the water gate or water yet, I think it was the beginning of the Canongate. I haven't
finished reading all about this but it is looking like that's what it says,  do any of you agree?

Hi Gadget,

I did at first as well, some of the writing is really difficult on these certificates as if the
search isn't hard enough at times.

Thanks so much for your in put, much appreciated.
