MaryJane Clement (Parker) is my Gt Gt Grandmother. Born 1863 in Liverpool. Her father Henry Parker was born in United States 1838 and was a Merchant Seaman (?African American). He is so difficult to find out about. I cannot find marriage to Mary Janes mum Elizabeth or his death but she becomes a widow by 1881 with 7 girls.  :o

Elizabeths surname isnt listed on anything Ive found online. The photo clearly shows African/Hispanic look. My Gran says her Mum was Liverpudlian.

Well Ive explored Harrocks but find them both living past 1881. In 1881 cencus Elizabeth is a widow and in 1880 namws her newborn Henrietta (In name of dead father?)
They are in Eccles Street 1871 and then Elizabeth is there till 1991.
The Harrocks line was a strong contender but dates dont fit. Still suspicious as all 3 streets involved are next to each other in old Liverpool near docks.
