Here are Elizabeth and children Esther and Henrietta on the 1901 census:

https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:X9V7-1VR

The Find a Grave site for Henry has Elizabeth's death as 1907. This would put her death around age 65, based on 1901 census age. There are two deaths recorded in West Derby for 1907, one has age 66 and the other age 70.

I cant find either Henry or Elizabeth on 1861 census. However I cant remember where but there was a Henry Parker and Elizh Parker on a passenger ship list somewhere. As he was a Merchant seaman and first born not till 1863 maybe they took a voyage back to the US to meet his family. I can dream if I want.......

I had wondered the same thing, Diane.

Sorry Diane, this is not all making much sense!  You clearly said that you had found Elizabeth unmarried, at home, and age 17 on the 1861 census .......

It makes more sense to me that it did before I came on this website! Thanks to everyone. The estimated year of birth on census  is way out. Im looking for 1844 and shes born 1838.  Wrong family. It fits in much better now if I follow thw Horrocks family and not go by the cencus.

I also cant find Henry on 1860 US Census. Either hes been conscripted to war or at sea. But hes on 1871 in UK and 1850 in US. Guess I will check passenger lists.

Sadly,I don't think the Henry on Find a Grave is "yours". (other people's trees! ::) ).

I think this is the Kentucky fellow:
Death James Henry Parker
https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:N9VJ-BLQ

1860 census
Note father John and mother Ann.
On A*try as Hy PARKIN
https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:MZBV-6HM

So born James Henry but sometimes uses  just Henry on census.
