Thank you RJ137 for the further information.  :)

I hadn't looked at these before now. It's amazing how much info is out there - if only there was the time to look at it all. Thanks again

Hi Fanny was my Great Grandmother I would love to hear what you have found out about the family, perhaps we can share info. Basically after the workhouse 4 of the children immigrated to America. One of the girls went to Canada. Both girls married but had no children. Nelson, my granddad stayed in england and went to sea at 13 and was survived by 3 children at his death. Gladys the eldest one being my mother. Two of the boys returned to england but only one survived to marry and have children. I did know his son Ben. This family still lives near scotland but we are no longer in contact since Ben Died. We also had visits from America until again the daughter died. My names are not clear at the moment as it is a long time since I did a search. I believe their was also an Auntie Grace who visited from Canada. Regards Jean

Hi Jean -
I'm so pleased you have contacted me. My main interest has been the Webb family in Whitstable. The way these children were dealt such an awful start to their lives (losing both parents so early) but appear to have overcome it and remained close, has always impressed me. I would love to let you know what I have and fill in some gaps in my own tree. Fanny's father was Henry Webb who was a diver - if you search my posts you will find info about his life and death.
If you are interested it may be best to send me a personal message so we can exchange info that way. Look forward to hearing from you. Regards Dino
