Searching for further information on Alexander Wickstead/ Wixstid/Weekestede, preacher of the word of God.
Drawn a blank in the clergy of the church of England database, and the alumnus records of Oxford and Cambridge.
 
Two PCC wills;
21st March 1609/1610;  Clerk - sole beneficiary John Wood DD, Rector of St Dionis Backchurch, London.
Probate; 22nd October 1613.

3rd February 1612/3; main beneficiary John Allington, cousin, Tayler of London.
Probate; 21st January 1613/4.

Published accounts of the voyage mention him as the minister, reporting his death early in the return voyage on 13th February 1612/3.
