Tracing relatives from Dublin

Hi

I've come to a sticking point! On the 1851 Birmingham Census - it states the head of the Mullins household came from Dublin. I think it says he was approx 34/38yrs old on this Census. Could anyone help me out as to how I find anymore out about relatives to him in Dublin?

I really need to get back on this family tree search!

You'll probably need his marriage for father or/and mother's name to know if any finds are the correct parson.

Marriage: Lawrence Mullins to either Ann O'Donnell or Ann Dwyer Jun 1845 Birmingham Vol16 Page 390 ( O'Donnell sounds a good Irish name lol and the 1851 census does say Ann was Irish ). I presume these are the family you mean ?

Dwyer is also an 'Irish' name 

If OP isn't sure about surname of the bride then birth certificates should list her married name. The GRO now have the facility so that you can check mother's maiden name without buying the actual certificate.
