What about these two villages in Montgomryshire:-

Llangdenny and Langovan/Llangoven

As your link showed you accidentally went to Monmouthshire.

Rutter, Sampson, Swinerd, Head, Redman in Kent.  Others in Cheshire, Manchester, Glos/War/Worcs.

Llangadfan's the most likely but I'm not totally convinced.  Could you give details of the person, please - or census refs.
