Chugg family

Hi

Looking for the Chugg family in East Down about 1595 when I believe Walter Chugg may have married someone named Ursula Heddon in 1620. Does anyone know who were their parents.

Also any information about Susannah Ridd who married a William Hooper in 1835 at Holy Trinity church in Challacombe. I know she had a child before she was married but just can't seem to find her parents. Susannah lived in Barbrook Mill

Susannah is consistent with a birth c1814 and Bittadon, Devon as place of birth, there is this record, it is only a transcription, seeing the actual register would help if an error was made with the surname

Susannah RUDD born on 6 February 1814 Bittadon.
Father: John Thomas
Mother: Alice Rudd
Residence: Bittadon Poorhouse
Fathers Occupation: husbandman / spinster

Do I take it that Susanna' s father's surname was Thomas and they weren't married. Thank you for the information. There is every chance thus was same family as surnames often changed slightly.

That's how I saw it - Thomas was her fathers surname and that they weren't married - and that 'spinster' was also noted in the record.

May help finding a marriage for both parents after this baptism date, having both parents names to work with.
