Many thanks, greatly appreciated.

I note on Emma Reinerts Obit there is a daughter Florence Reinert. I have located Florence with Emma on the 1920 & 1930 census but she is showing as Florence Raiger? But with  birth date after death of Emma' s  husband Elias 1879. Any help on Florence that would be great.

It appears Florence Raiger was the daughter of a  Philip Raiger. This article seems to explain the connection to the Reinert family.

Here's a few more clues and time line of what I'm seeing. I'm not quite sure what to make of the relationship between Emma Reinert, Phillip Raiger & Florence Raiger. I'm starting to  think Florence was the daughter of Phillip & Emma and those two were not married and both widowed.

As you noted Emma's husband Elias died in 1879. According to Phillip Raiger's obit in 1897 his wife (Mary Rohrbach) died sixteen years prior (abt. 1881). This would also be before the birth date shown for Florence.

In Phillip Raiger's obit Florence is listed along with the other children. In an article about a birthday party for Phillip in 1897 a month prior to his death, all his children are listed as attending as well as Emma Reinert.

In the 1900 census Phillip's 2 youngest sons are found living with their sister Minnie, but Florence is living with Emma and listed as daughter.

1900 census(Raiger): https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:M3MP-8LK

1900 census (Reinert): https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:M3M5-HJ1

In an obit in 1933 for Florences's sister Laura all Laura's siblings are mentioned except Florence??? It seems Florence Raiger was more a part of the "Reinert" family then the "Raiger" family.

Hi RJ137
Many thanks for all your help, a great lot of info to digest. I think you are possibly right,  Emma had Florence with Philip Raiger.
