My grand-dad is Patrick Melia (the one born in 1916) not his son Patsy.

Sandie is my Aunt - she is the sister of Mam.

I think you got in contact with each other through DNA testing/family tree searching.

Hi,

Patrick 1916 is my Grandad too and his son Patsy 1943 was my biological Father. Sandie is my 1st cousin, her Mam Philys is Patsy's Sister. Are you Sophie or Amber?

I have a massive tree on Ancestry and would be happy to share it with you if you want?

Regards

Bev

Hi, I instigated this thread so would li like to say that I now live in York.  The dairy shop was in Queen's Street (now demolished). I spent many glorious moments there from the age of 4 smoking woodbines with my Grandmother Bridget Mahon.  She also taught me at a young age to drink guiness. The best person to speak to is Mike Mahon who is still living and Dublin and knows so much.
