my partener doesn't know anything about his grandparents on both sides.
john peacock and Janie Lawson are their names and they were both roughely born in the 20's, can anyone help with this please? theyre from the bangour areas, we think.we know they had a daughter my partners mother Margaret in whitecross.any help would be appreciated. nimmo and prentice are other names that may be connected

Scotlandspeople's website has a marriage for a John Nimmo Peacock / Jane Henery Lawson , 1945 , Muiravonside Stirling.

Also birth for John Nimmo Peacock 1922 Slamannan
Jane Henery  Lawson 1924 Linlithgow all these certificates need to be ordered and that will give you the parents names

There is a death for a John Nimmo Peacock , age 71 , 1994 Polmont and Muiravonside Stirling(mother's maiden surname Nimmo)

Death Jane Hendry Peacock(other surname Lawson) , age 86 , 2010 Larbert Stirling(mother's maiden surname English)

Marriage William Middlet(on?) Peacock / Margaret P Nimmo , 1920 , Muiravonside Stirling.

ive been searching for jane hendry/henry/Hendrie Lawson peacocks parents by checking for a marriage between a Lawson and English but fail to find anything, can anyone please help with this?

If you can get the information from Jane's birth certificate, it will tell you where and when her parents were married. You can't look at the birth certificate online because it is less than 100 years ago, but you can order a copy, or try to find someone who is going to a Scotland's People centre and would be willing to transcribe it for you.
Never trust anything you find online (especially submitted trees and transcriptions on Ancestry, MyHeritage, FindMyPast and other commercial web sites) unless it's an image of an original document - and even then be wary because errors can and do occur.
