Julia (Flett,Bruton) Henwood

    Hi I am researching a Julia( Flett Bruton) ,who married Francis Albert Henwood in Melbourne  in 1938. I am hoping to find her date of death and also where she is buried.

Perhaps this is her husband's death - maybe she married again, although I don't see a marriage in Victoria for her under that name. see below - marriage index in Victoria not on-line after 1942.

Electoral roll 1949 shows Julia HENWOOD at 148 Thistlewaite St South Melbourne in 1949, the same address as she and Francis in 1943.  However they're not always very up-to-date. Also in 1949 there is a Julia HENWOOD listed in Redfern NSW but no way of telling if it's the same person.

The Vic bdm website shows that they display online their index for marriages upto 1942, but not more recently than that.

From ryerson's index http://ryersonindex.org/search.php  there is a death for a Julia Sarah HENWOOD who died 18 April 1971 aged 85 late of Redfern.

Is this likely to be her?  I had a quick look at death notice and there is no mention of husband but does mention her son Clarence PIKE (deceased).
