Tracing an ancestor ( Convents records)

Hi all! 
I've recently came across with a document dated from 1931 which says an ancestor, aged 32, was at a convent.  She lived in Liverpool.  I assumed she was a nun, as I couldn't find any marriage/children records.  I've been searching for her on Ancestry, FindMyPast, Family Search and at two websites 'Who were the nuns?' and the Catholic FHS website, but no luck.

Nora Ann McGrady
Born Oct 1899 West Derby, Lancashire.
Her parents were Daniel McGrady and Ann.
Her last known address (1911 Census) was 35 Fielding Street Kensington, Liverpool.

I checked for obituaries in the paper and it's a different person, this Nora was born in the 30s.

Could she has been in a convent, aged 32, not being a nun? 

I've been researching and it seems nuns were given a different surname.  I don't know if I should write to each convent and ask if they could help me out?

I have search for the convent and they have no website or email address.  I'm going to write a letter and hope they can provide me with some information.  I think it's the only way that I may find more about her life, where and when she passed away, and where is her grave.

What about the 1939 Register as it would have been updated which would help with info. while awaiting any response to a letter?

Hi! Thanks for your help.  No, the others are cousins.  I think I have found her on the 1939 register at Notre Dame Convent, Southport, she was a teacher, not sure if she was a nun too.
