We've established that John Cradock married Elizabeth Midleton on 18 May 1769 at Oakley. Therefore if both aged 21 or over we are looking for someone born 1748 or prior. Elizabeth Middleton was baptised Oakley on 17 May 1741, daughter of Thomas & Elizabeth.  So we assume that husband John was born around same time. As per the Beds FHS Surnames index CD there is a possible John Craddock baptised 1741 in Turvey. That PR has baptism there on 1 Mar 1740-41 son of Zacheriah & Mary Cradock.  Could be? as Zecheriah Craddack married Mary Knott at Oakley on 14 June 1730.

And Turvey is also around the corner from Oakley and Clapham, I believe (google maps). It could well be him, seems like a likely candidate.

I found the following on Zachariah Craddock:

Baptised 1707 in Stevington to parents John Craddock and Mary.
He had three sisters, Mary (1710), Elizabeth (1715) and Susan (1718).
He was married to Mary Knott in 1730.
Had daughters Elizabeth (1731) and Susan (1735) in Stevington and daughter Mary (1738) and son John (1740) in Turvey.

Haha it's been a while, I forgot... Was busy with other strands of my tree... Let's leave it here then, no need for it to be double!
