Hello Rootschatters,

I am wondering if anyone can help/advise me where to go next.

I have the baptism of Eliza FOTTRELL on the 21st January 1838 in St. James (R.C.) church, Dublin.
Parents are listed as Michael FOTTRELL and Elizabeth BOURKE.

I cannot find a marriage for this couple, or any other children. I have tried IrishGenealogy, Ancestry, and FamilySearch. I do not have a subscription to Roots Ireland so I could not try that one.

Any advice where I could try next? I have no other information on them except what is stated in the church record.

This is a real long shot npl.
As Elizabeth's baptism is listed at St James R.C church it could be worthwhile going through births and marriages on the St James parish records. Tedious but sometimes worthwhile.

Thank you for your reply. I did manage to trace a child of this marriage back as far as 1824, but no luck tracing a marriage. I shall just have to keep trying.
