Here is 1881 - it looks as though the brother from 1871 is Catherine's brother.

1881 3641/103/4

Catherine Shean 48 yrs
Thomas Shean   18 yrs
Catherine Shean 21 yrs
John Connor brother 38 yrs
James Kevitt son in law 21 yrs
James Kevitt grandson 6 months

Catherine should be Kevitt but is dittoed as Shean. She is shown in Marriage indexes as Shean.

Yes thank you,  thats my family in the 1881 census - with Catherine ( senior) but no husband Barclay/Batholomew? or in 1871?
