Hereford Bluecoat School

I would like to know if pupil records survive for this school from the 1790s.  I am trying to locate two children said to have been at the school in the second half of 1796 and whose mother was Mary Clarke. Any help would be much appreciated.

Have you tried contacting the School or Herefordshire record office.  :-\
