Lookup needed for Richard Gasking

One of my earliest ancestors was Richard Gasking/Gaskin who married Bridget Jepson in South Normanton on Notts/ Derbys border 22 Jan 1716. Richard was born in Norton Nottinghamshire. The nearest churches to Norton, are Cuckney & Carburton. I would like to find the his birth date & parents names.
Also I am interested in the Jepson family. Bridget's parents are William & Ann. William may have been born in 1662 in South Normanton.

Bridget Jepson bapt 26 Jul  1693 to William Jepson.
 
On the marriage entry I have for her it say Richard Gascoine of Norton Notts.  The only one I can see is Richard Gascoyne 22.3. 1684 to Mary at Newark.

Thanks for the reply, my data for Richard Gasking is: born, Norton, Notts, marr. 22/01/1716 South Normanton, Died Sutton in Ashfield 1765.
My possible parents, John Gasken marr. Elizabeth Storer in Warsop, Derbys 12 Jul 1698, John bap,1674 Carburton, Notts. Warsop & Carburton are both close to Norton.
I notice that on this Notts board (25/03/15) that "Dizzifish" appears to hold Norton & Carburton BMD's. How do we contact?
I cannot help further with Bridget & William Jepson.
Re. Slater name: Elizabeth Gaskin (my ancestor) marr. James Slater 24/08/1857. South Normanton.
      Marriott name: Samuel Gaskin (my ancestor) marr. Hannah Marriott 01/02/1803, again S.N.

The marriage entry states ' of Norton' which means that's were he was residing at the time of marriage, but not necessarily born there.  Gascoyne is a very common name around the SN / Pinxton area.

Edit- I have access to Norton Cuckney records from 1653 - 1901, but there are no Gaskin / Gasking etc baptisms around the time you are looking for.  The earliest baptism is 1811 and earliest burial in 1796.  My Carburton records don't start until 1790.

         Thanks for the information. One telling point I did not know, is the remark about residence at the time of marriage.    This means I have  to widen the search beyond Norton / Cuckney. Adjer.
