Are you seeking the same person on both of your posts??
You have posted enquiring about about Henry Wells p.o.b. who moved to Bonavista newfoundland - you have posted in Hampshire /Isle of White

Could you explain both posts in more detail please

My GGG Grandfather Henry Wells was born in 1765. He married Mary House in 1794 and they lived in Bonavista Newfoundland Canada... That is as far back as I can seem to get and I am wondering where he might have been born. Some info shows Ringwood, Hampshire... I am new to this and was just reaching out to see if anybody might know the lineage.... All my ancestors after Henry were born, married and died in Bonavista. My goal i feel possible is to fine out where Henry or his father came from and to visit there on my next England trip..... Thank you for responding..... Wayne

Just speculation on the part of some researchers that the Wells family might have come from there.... No proof ....sorry, Wayne
