Edmondson/bowies hawick

I am searching for relatives in hawick.
My granny lived there until moving to Belfast, she was jane Hogg bowie edmondson before marrying, her parents were Isaac Edmondson and euphemia Marshall, isaac's parents were Isaac Edmondson and jane bowie.
Can anyone help me take this further back?

My great grandfather Isaac edmondson was born 28/91876 and died on 2/1/1942, his father Isaac was born 4/6/1855 and died 16/2/1924, I think his father also Isaac was born in 1820 and died 19/6/1855.
I am only just starting out in my search, so any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Louise as you seem to have most of the dates of deaths etc what other information are you looking for ...Do you have them on all the census records

I have gotten as far back as an Isaac edmondson born around 1775 who married a Johanna lewarne, don't seem to be able to get any further though.
I am new to this today so I'm not exactly sure what I am doing!
I would also like to trace the bowie side of the family as well
