Saville family in Selby
« on: Sunday 27 August 17 20:18 BST (UK) »
An ancestor of mine was Richard Saville, a brewer in Selby.  In 1791 he married Catherine Calvert in Selby Abbey, and he was buried in the Abbey in 1814.  His father is recorded as being John Saville.

Has anyone already come across Richard in their Yorkshire research?
Interested in the Irish Brennans, and the English Butler, Cracroft and Southwick families.

Editor of "Cracroft's Peerage", an online peerage reference work.

Have you looked in 'Surname Interests' in 'Your Tools' below, to see if anyone else is researching this family?
You need to be pro-active to try to find fellow researchers.
