Hi
I am trying to find the whereabouts of my father and half brother. Where is the most appropriate place on your website to do that please?
Thank you

we have a  no-living-person policy.

All census look up transcriptions are Crown Copyright http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/

British Home Children are very special.

We search for information but it is up to the thread owner to verify that it is correct.

British Census copyright The National Archives; Canadian Census copyright Library and Archives Canada

Hi Mel

Welcome to Rootschat  ;D

This forum is for finding out about our ancestors, not reconnecting with missing family and friends so we can't specifically help you with your enquiry.

Names of living or potentially living people are removed by the moderating team.

If the hints and tips posted in the link mentioned in reply #2 don't help, then have a look on the various county boards under resources to see if there is more help there.

Other than that, you haven't updated your profile so we don't know where in the world you are and whether the links to resources in England & Wales are appropriate.

Dawn

Try a different website such as GenesReunited:

(small cost to join)

If you know names, have you tried social media?
