Iliffe - Hinckley

One of my three times great grandmothers was Ann Iliffe bp 11 December 1821 at St Mary's Hinckley. her parents are recorded as James Iliffe and Ann.

On the 1841 census, Ann is at Brick Kiln Street in Hinckley with what looks like her Uncle William, b c 1775, her father James b c 1782 and her younger brothers James, baptised at St Mary's in 1825 and George, baptised there in 1827.

I'm struggling to get any further back than this. I cannot find a birth or marriage for James, so I don't currently have his parents or Ann senior's maiden name.

I'm hoping to see if there is a connection with William Iliffe (?1624-1688), but currently I'm stuck.

Does anyone have any information or any ideas how I might progress this?

Witnesses  John Heatherley and N Smith

P S. Also on Free Reg:- birth/baptism? 25 April 1779 - Wm Iliff. Son of William and  Mary.  St Mary, Hinckley.
