Jane Bennett
« on: Thursday 31 August 17 15:09 BST (UK) »
I am looking for some background details on Jane Bennett, born appx 1797/98, who went on to marry a George Dykes (Dikes?), at Nottingham St. Mary's on Sept. 3rd. 1816. I think they had 8 children, and Jane died in 1849, buried 2/2/1849, living at Independent Hill Nottingham at that time.
Could anyone help, please,  with her date and place of birth, anything on parents or siblings, thanks.

Thanks for the reply, i did have some of the children's info.....I believe there were several more, including two 'Johns', one born appx 1837, the second 1841, presumably after death of first one.
This would point to the Jane Bennett born in 1796 as being the more likely of the two, as the earlier one would have been approaching 50 yrs. old by 1841.
Thanks again, one more small piece in a large puzzle.
