Looking for Easby baptism
« on: Friday 01 September 17 02:09 BST (UK) »
Can anyone check for the baptism for a Jane Wake ca 1775 in Easby?

I'm still looking for my Jane Wake, whose 1851 census entry suggests she was born at Scotch Corner near Middelton Tyas but she wasn't baptised there.

There's also this one in Easby

Ann WAKE/ATKINSON bap 23/11/1766 illegitimate daughter of Margaret WAKE and Thomas ATKINSON residence given as Skeeby, as is the one for Jane WAKE in 1775 which you have already been given.

Hi....I live in Skeeby still just a small village. Easby would be very likely for a baptism and I know all burials there are noted in a book. If you have any address or I can help in any way please feel free to message me

Gina, thanks for Ann's baptism, a potential sister or half-sister for my Jane.

Cris, thanks for your kind offer. I did find Margaret's burial in Easby on 29 Oct 1796 aged 60 so born ca 1736.

Now to find her baptism ...
