How do I find where a releative is buried without having to pay the councils?

Hi there,
I'm trying to find the grave of my greatgrandma but I'm having trouble locating her.
Death registration says wakefield but my auntie said that the last place she lived was seacroft. Also my auntie suggested middleton as that's possibly where her husband is buried too.

Her name is Minnie Cundall (maiden broadhead) 1891-1962. Her husband is Robert Cundall 1982-1914.

I have tried on my ancestry account and also on the websites for wakefield, seacfoft & middleton but cant find anything.

Please help

You will need to search the burial indexes. This may mean a visit to a library or records office in the area you think your grandma was buried. This will give you a reference to a plot - usually letters and numbers (e.g. AA14 - block A, row A, grave number 14). These can be found inscribed on the back or end of grave stones.
Johnson, Crankshaw, Burdett, Shaw, Dawson/Dulson, Whitebread/Whitbread, Drane, Hyett, Holtaway, Thompson, Bodell, Livermore, Gee, Vernon, Smith......the list goes on....and on...and on....

Minnie b 1891 ?
Robert (snr) d 1946 ?

What detail do you have that confirms the death details of Minnie?

Also if she died as late as 1962, you have to consider that she may have been cremated and not buried in which case her ashes could have been scattered anywhere.

Do you have both DCs to say where they both died & is there a great distance between those locations?

Obviously Robert would have been buried 1st, where did he die, was it near their home town or elsewhere given the date?

The 1939 gives Robert a birth year of October 1892 and Minnie's is May 1890
