1905 marriage
« on: Tuesday 05 September 17 13:52 BST (UK) »
Hi would anyone recognise these names. Alice Butterworth married Samuel Green. 20 December 1905. 20 Nursery St Liverpool. We have Photo with this address on back, but do not know who they are, or names we found in Libary. x

They are in a public tree on Ancestry - you could contact the owner

I'm puzzled by the date you give.

The marriage of Samuel Green (23) and Alice Butterworth (20) took place at All Saints' Parish Church, Liverpool on 19 February 1894.

They were in Boundary St, Kirkdale in 1901: RG13/3470/117/7.

I can't easily see what happened to them thereafter.

Children:

Mary Green mmn Butterworth, Dec qtr 1894 Liverpool
Alice Green mmn Butterworth, Dec qtr 1896 Liverpool
Elizabeth Green mmn Butterworth, Jun qtr 1899 West Derby

The online tree doesn't look very reliable - it has Mary born "abt 1910" despite her being 7 in 1901.

OK I now see that Alice (snr) died in the decade after 1901, and the three daughters stayed with their father (and grandmother Ellen Butterworth, who was with them in 1901).  I can't at present see anything linking the family to 20 Nursery St.
