Robert Andrews

I am looking for a birth record for Robert Andrews about 1825 father Harry Andrews birth place Yarmouth IOW. He married Eleanor Lloyd in 1846.The certificate is difficult to read. His occupation was shipwright but that of his father is indistinct.Any info on Robert (I do have census records 1861 & 1881) and any on Harry greatly appreciated! Thank You

Thanks Cas! That's very helpful,been struggling for ages to find that out.It was his son who became my great grandfather (died young at 39)Now to go back a stage & see what I can find out about Roberts parents,Henry (Harry) and Anne.

Could be him in 1841

Looks like occupation is Shipwright.

In 1861 Robert and Elinor have a John Andrews living with them also born IOW. Not sure if it says boarder or brother. He is a bit older than Robert born abt 1819

Could be John Andrews in '51, right sort of age and also a grocer.
