My ancestor is John BRASS and he was born in Richmond Yorkshire, England in 1763. He died in 1842 and is buried in Richmond, Yorkshire North Riding. How do I find out which graveyard or cemetery he is buried in. I do not live in England.

Claire, That is amazing. I have looked on internet for ages to find an answer to that. Does it say if he has a headstone, or any marker on the grave? I thank you sincerely.

Unfortunately no it doesn't. You may consider getting in touch with the church. Although there may be MI's on the web that someone else may know about
Here is a link to the website, address is at the bottom of page

Hi again
It does look like there are transcriptions here and photo's but can't see him. It may be worth checking with the church, just incase - or possibly he was buried with family ?
