old Sumner chch butchery

My father owned the old Sumner Butchery on the corner of Nayland street and the main road to Lyttelton. I would like to know the history of it and who built and owned it before 1952. can anyone help please thanks lnr

The other butchery was actually across the street from ours and we gave it the nickname of the maggity meat market when we were young. thanks lnr

Hi thanks so much for this research very much appreciated. Now that the new museum is open in Sumner hope to see some photos if possible! lnr
