Thanks for all those comments there guys there were a few I'd missed hadn't got a notice of them coming through.

Dathai I had thought there might have been a religious issue between them due to the fact that they I think they married in a reg office. I wondered if one had been RC and one Prot. But if I remember rightly I think Joseph is described as RC on the census return. Though obviously he could have changed his religion.

Well spotted Mary, think that 65 seems a bit more likely doesn't it. Makes him 19 at the time. And the age would have been given by him rather than the grandson who reported his death and seems to have been way off. Which makes the 16 year old Unity maybe quite a good candidate doesn't it.

Well I thought so Hallmark....can't remember why I believed that it wasn't a church wedding. I found the marriage some time ago so details are foggy now.

Also I have another question please about the marriage certificate. Once again would it only list the bride and grooms father's names which I already saw online? Would there be any further info on there? Mother's names? I sense the answer is no as I think that the whole detail would be there online but just asking. Not sure what you get on Irish certs from the time. Thanks

Sinnan just saw your question about whether Unity was born RC. Don't know the answer to that no. I guess I had thought she was but without knowledge just because the family were RC but I did have that question over the marriage and guessed one of them wasn't RC at birth.

Thanks Hallmark for that example. So not much more to be gained though I guess that address is of interest. Worth getting then.
