It is indeed a bit confusing as there was Louie J - mother  and Louie K - daughter.
The marriagein Redruth districi in Q3 1914 is clearly Louie K Bullock. Her mother Louie J was, at that time, still married for the Battle of Coronel was on 1 November 1914.

I've just found them listed on the corresponding outward list :

Louie K Davis housewife 25
Audrey Davis 5
Louie Davis 2
Louie Ellis 50
Frederick Ellis 16
Ruby Ellis 5

Seems like they weren't sure of which surname to give. Louie certainly  appears to have jumped the gun in marrying again before 1st November .

I have the certificate of Edward Bruno Ellis marrying Louie Bullock, widow, on 8 October 1911 at the United Methodist Church, Camborne. [Wasn't I lucky to photograph it before it was demolished] This shows her father as Robert Giddy tin miner deceased.
I don't have certificates for either Louisa J Giddy marrying Richard Bullock q3 1893 Redruth distr. nor the q3 1914 marriage of Louie K Bullock & E. Davies. I shall try to get sight of them when next in Truro.
The 1881 census shows Louisa J Giddy 15 tin miner! d/o Robert Giddy 73 invalid former tin miner & Nanny 55.
The 1901 census shows Louie  Bullock 32 living at 1, Centenary Row w/o Richard 32 tin miner. They had a son & 3 daughters one of whom was Louie K born c. 1896
In 1911 Louie Bullock 43 is a widow still living at 1, Centenary Row with her mother Nanny 93  and children which includes Louie Kathleen Bullock 15 fuse maker ( I got it wrong).
Afterwards all I knew was from the casualty details of Edward Bruno Ellis which states:-
"husband of Louie Ellis 216 West 43rd St., Chicago."  Your additions, Christine 53, are so helful. Many thanks. You deserve good weather this w/e.

Oh I am so stupid ! I thought Louie Bullock b 1895 had married Edward Bruno Ellis. ( I thought she was rather young ! )I see where I went wrong  - she was the fuse maker.

So , now we have Louie Davies , nee Bullock , b 1895 , going to Chicago with her mother Louie Ellis. I found Louie the younger's death , but we still don't know what happened to the mother.

I will look at this some more when I can - I do have wifi access next week.
