Burial Record & NBI Record Lookup Needed Please!

Hi all,

Have found the following burial on Freereg, but I believe that possibly the dates are either round the wrong way or just plain wrong.

Thomas Liew, buried at St Margarets, Chipstead on 17th Dec 1700

However, the register note line shows the following:

'Thomas Liew, Senior. Died, 21st. Was wrapt in Woollen.'

Either he died the previous month (Nov) but that seems a bit long (almost a month) between death & burial, or as pointed out the dates are the wrong way round or just wrong. Which is it? I mean he can't have been buried 4 days before he died, can he, at least I hope not anyway!

Also there is a NBI record showing on FindMyPast for an Ann Liew burial in 1710 also in Chipstead, this I believe to be Thomas's wife Anna. This record does not appear on Freereg.

Thomas & Anna Liew are my 8x gt grandparents.

If sks could look these up for me I would be extremely grateful.

At least you know he wasn't buried alive.
