It lists him a Dyke builder which I imagine is part of the masons trade.

I'm descended from Alexanders brother Archibald Fraser whos D.Cert also lists John as a mason.

The one I have I'm fairly sure is correct.
21 July 1873 in Clunas but nowhere closer on finding her father Alexander Mcintosh listed as a Chelsea Pensioner

I have John's death certificate. Some census pages  he was a stone Mason, not sure I know how to post them here. I am on ancestry

Never trust anything you find online (especially submitted trees and transcriptions on Ancestry, MyHeritage, FindMyPast and other commercial web sites) unless it's an image of an original document - and even then be wary because errors can and do occur.

Hi Jso27

My name is Sandra Macdonald and I wrote to you last year regarding the death certificate for Amelia Mackintosh.  I let you know that I had a copy.  I was wondering how you were going with the family history, and I was also wondering how you fitted into the family history of John and Amelia Fraser (nee Mackintosh).  Hope to hear from you.

Kind Regards
Sandra
