Does anyone have any information about the petrol filing station above Milton which was ,I believe, used to fill Jerry cans for the forces during World War II ?

Unaware of a filling station above Milton, but there were several large tanks on the hillside about 50 yds from the eastbound carriageway of the A82 between Milton and Dunglass roundabout at the Bowling Junction.  These tanks I understand held aviation fuel during and after WW2.  They were decommissioned during the 1970's/80's
